Paper Therapy is more than the things we make. We create spaces for folks to slow down, connect, heal, and just be. From workshops and community gatherings to panels and conversations, we’re all about making wellness feel more human, accessible, and like something you can actually see yourself in.

Our affirmation workshops help people recognize the ways they talk to themselves, release some of the negative shit, and replace it with words that actually feel supportive. We teach people that affirmations don’t have to sound perfect or poetic. They just have to sound like you.
Why folks love it: We make the release physical. Participants write down negative self-talk and, depending on the workshop, burn it or dissolve it in water as a way of intentionally letting it go.

Homies Who Journal makes journaling feel a lot less serious and like a collective practive. Through creative prompts and guided reflection, we help people find a way of journaling that works for them, whether that’s full pages, bullet points, drawings, lists, or a little bit of everything.
Why folks love it: You get permission to journal like yourself. No perfect handwriting, five-paragraph entries, or “Dear Diary” required.

Good Grief is an intimate healing space for Black men and masculine-identified folks to slow down and be real about grief in all its forms. Through conversation, meditation, reflection, and community, we create room to put down the performance of always having to be okay.
Why folks love it: There’s no pressure to have the right words or even to speak. You can talk your shit, sit quietly, listen, journal, or simply be around other people who get it. -
Our founder, Ni’jai, brings Paper Therapy’s approach to panels, conferences, workshops, and community conversations. Whether speaking, facilitating, or curating a circle, the goal stays the same: make conversations about wellness and healing feel human, culturally relevant, and accessible.

Sometimes you just need Paper Therapy in the building. We partner with brands, conferences, and community organizations through event tabling, pop-ups, product gifting, and curated takeaways that give people something meaningful to leave with.
